This small building for private offices in Athens is the representative headquarter of a marketing company that aims to work in a familiar atmosphere. The site faces the main entry way to Athens (Athina street) towards south. The boundaries of the new volume follow the maximum allowed buildable space. In this way the perimetrical walls act as a kind of fence of a new site composed of a sequence of indoor, outdoor, covered, uncovered spaces of continuosly different heights. The continous variation of scale within the same boundaries while feeling precise geometrical volumes to live in increases the perception of time that people spend in a specific location. The different size and orientation of the openings that relate the indoor spaces to the magnificent horizon towards the centre of Athens encreases the richness of the perception throughout the day.
