The competition for a multipurpose building in the new architectural landscape of the new cities in UAE that are pushed between desert and sea offers us the chance to think about  a Middle East contemporary identity.
The new sea front of Abu Dhabi will be a reality in short time and probably with a little chance to express an idea of cultural identity.
The main building (about 200 m height) we propose is formed by a square floor plan that rotates vertically revisiting the care on geometry of the best Islamic tradition as it has been investigated for example by the master Sinan in the 15th century.
