Davide Macullo Architects is an international architecture and design studio based in Lugano, Southern Switzerland.

Out of the strength geometry that recalls the dynamic of a drop of water forming circles on a liquid surface, the project emphasises the relation of the function with a natural landscape drawn by water.
The project is composed of 4 elements:
The landscape (world)
The hotel (mountains
The thermal centre (hills)
The floating villas (rocks)
These four elements compose the universe that one needs to find where he inhabits.
The strong geometry solves the functional and pragmatic aspect of the construction and the organic shapes host with care its inhabitants.
The fluent sequence of built volumes designs the new environment as an old painting showing the mountains (hotel) as source of the water that flows through the hills (Thermal bath) becoming a river that wets the rocks (villas) and ends in the lake or ocean (by congress centre).
The project takes advantage of the existing conditions by interpreting the quality of the existing environment and inserting the new presences as a natural continuation of the whole granting the place a unique experience, sense and philosophy.
People’s search for having a complete experience has increased rapidly and the demand for eco-friendly structures is the future idea of luxury together with the need of intimacy and meditation.
The proposed project considers all these aspects and builds a series of spaces for a community as well as for an intimate experience, every time at every place!
