The two towers stand proud as the Gatekeepers of the Bay.
They harbour delight at the entrance to the Sea, giving joy to those flying across the water and creating a community space onshore.
Their framing presence emphasises the sense of place of the Bay; a place where a civilized people live in the midst of their art.
They are beacons on the shore, echoing sea faring forms and histories.
On the cusp between the Land and the Sea, they appear as half building, half boat.
The static structure has been maintained. In its materiality, the proposal is flexible and can be adapted.
Light passes through the towers and shadows change across the day.
