Living in the park was the motto given by the promotors to this project for 60 new houses and 60 new apartments. The idea was to create a “carpet” of single family houses and a vertical volume “signal” for the apartment building. The typology of the houses follows the principle of the designing the empty spaces and reaching a fusion between public and private spaces in a fluent way. On entering “the carpet” you feel as part of your home and it appears as an open sunny and light space. The internal flow follow the principle of the spiral starting from the public space (street) up to the most private (bedroom) embracing a raised open green courtyard as centre and physical extension of the internal spaces.
